Our team consists of professionals trained by the Hungarian Defence Forces, a team of retired officers.

During their studies, their professional training covered the following topics:

  • Explosives theory: classification, effects and strength of explosives. Detonation types and the design and effects of explosive projectiles (shaped charges).

  • Land Service Ammunition (LSA): assistance in identification, LSA fixation systems. Identification of projectiles, mortars, rockets, grenades and landmines by major group and subgroup roles, hazards and general methods of disposal. Detection of LSA and movement of explosives. LSA practical identification training (reconnaissance circles).

  • Landmines and booby traps: minefield patterns and doctrines. Landmine components, types of landmines and principles of operation. Simple and complex firing mechanisms. Introduction to booby traps, including theory and methods of operation.

  • Air Dropped Weapons (ADW): key identification features of aircraft bombs, guns and fuses, arming and operational procedures. Classification and role recognition of aircraft bombs, containers, incendiary devices, ammunition and area denial weapons. Safe Rendering Procedures (RSP) settings. Practical identification training (reconnaissance rounds).

  • Guided Weapons (GW): classification of GW, component identification and safety precautions. Identification of the role and category of GW. GW detection procedures, disposal techniques. Practical identification training (detection rounds).

  • Storage, transport and handling of explosives: health and safety legislation and environmental issues. Hazardous storage, transport and handling requirements. Explosive safety and security. Explosives store/magazine practical field inspection audit.

  • Demolition site management: criteria for selecting a demolition site, demolition site layout, demolition site safety and demolition procedures. Demolition site documentation. Practical demolition site selection exercise.

  • Demolition: types of explosives and accessories, demolition starter kits (electric and non-electric, percussion drills). Main and main-line ringing techniques. High and low sequence techniques. Disposal by burning, including high and low burning methods. Introduction to mass demolitions. Safety and safe distances for personnel and equipment. Types of blast and crack mitigation protection works.

  • Practical 'LIVE' demolition training (Battle Area Clearance - BAC): BAC reconnaissance, procedures and rescue methods defined. Visual, shallow instrument and deep instrument search techniques with practical demonstrations and exercises. BAC planning, man and day calculations, operational documentation. Practical planning and reporting.

  • Threat assessment and planning: threat assessment introductory and threat analysis tools. Practical threat assessment exercises.

  • EOD task management: 10 phases of EOD operation. Practical EOD task demonstration and EOD task training.
